Sarah Call, MD

Dr. Call joined Mountain Laurel Medical Center in June 2014. Dr. Call is a board-certified family physician and a member of the AAFP. After high school she attended Boston College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History while she
followed the pre-med track. She received her M.D. from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2007, graduating with honors. While in medical school she had several volunteering opportunities, including helping run a free medical clinic in the west side of Chicago and setting up a temporary medical clinic in the Dominican Republic for Haitian refugees. She completed her residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. In her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident and was part of the hospital’s ethics committee. She then joined a rural family medicine practice in central Massachusetts. Dr. Call was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She and her husband, a veterinarian at Casselman Veterinary Services, and their two sons and daughter are glad to call Garrett County home. In February 2023 Dr. Call moved into the role of Chief Medical Officer.

Jonathan Miller

Dr. Jonathan Miller is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. Dr. Miller obtained his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Kentucky School of Music with a focus on viola and orchestra. Following his Bachelor’s degree, Dr. Miller attended medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Miller brings a diverse background in Family Medicine to MLMC! Dr. Miller worked outside of the country in Catel, Guinea Bissau providing medical care to patients in remote regions. He continued his medical career completing his residency in Family Medicine at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s, then went on to become a Family Physician at UMPC Somerset. Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, playing viola and guitar at church, hiking, camping, backpacking, organizing game nights, and making homemade ice cream!

Amanda Kamp (2)

Amanda Kamp, CRNP

Grantsville, MD

Amanda joined Mountain Laurel Medical Center in October 2020. Amanda is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed in the state of Maryland.  She is ACLS certified. Amanda was born and raised in Garrett County and graduated from Northern high school. She then went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from West Virginia University and graduated in 2008. Amanda started her nursing career at West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, WV working on an orthopedic surgery focused unit. She then transferred to MedExpress Urgent Care in LaVale, MD, and most recently worked at Western Maryland Health System in Cumberland, MD as a member of the clinical resource team while in graduate school. As a member of the clinical resource team, Amanda was able to gain valuable experience in a variety of care settings such as behavioral health, post-partum, high-level care, and general medical units. Amanda obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University in August 2020. She currently resides in McHenry with her husband and son.

Kaylee Livengood, CRNP

Oakland & Grantsville, MD

Kaylee joined Mountain Laurel Medical Center in May 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and licensed in the state of Maryland.  Kaylee is a native of Garrett County. She graduated from Southern Garrett High School and completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Frostburg State University. Kaylee then received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in December 2018. Her nursing experience started on the orthopedic unit at Valley Health Winchester Medical where she also worked on a COVID-19 medical unit before moving home to Garrett County. Kaylee then worked at the Garrett County Health Department as a public health nurse. Kaylee graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Wheeling University in December 2022 and completed most of her clinical hours with providers at MLMC.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, loves spending time outdoors, going thrifting, gardening and crafts. Kaylee is looking forward to being able to provide health care to her community.

Melissa Scott, DO

Dr. Melissa Scott joined Mountain Laurel Medical Center in May 2023 as a Psychiatrist and the Medical Director of Behavioral Health. She is originally from the Hudson Valley of New York state. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from La Salle University in Philadelphia and received her D.O. Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. She completed her residency training at Ozark Center in Joplin, Missouri in 2017. She was awarded resident of the year in 2014 and served as Chief Resident in her 4th year of training. She recently completed specialized training to become certified in Perinatal Mental Health. She has worked throughout her career in Community Mental Health Centers and has experience with outpatient, residential, partial hospital, and Assertive Community Treatment services. Her husband is a child and adolescent psychiatrist. She currently lives in West Virginia with her husband and daughter.

Christy Lambert, LCSW-C

Grantsville, MD

Christy Lambert joined Mountain Laurel in December 2018 as a Behavioral Health Provider. Christy is a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker in the State of Maryland.  She became certified as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals in January 2019. She received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts in Communication in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and her Masters of Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Integrated Mental and Behavioral Health in 2017, from West Virginia University. Christy has worked at Garrett County Lighthouse as the Residential Director and the Garrett County Health Department as the therapist for the Maryland Community Criminal Justice Treatment Program. Christy completed her advanced field placement at Mountain Laurel Medical Center and was excited to have the opportunity to return as an employee. Christy is a native of Somerset County, PA where she lives with her many rescue animals. Christy enjoys being able to provide therapy and support to those typically underserved in the community.
